Z0106-06 This is a major modification of a conditional use permit allowing a existing residence to be used as a preschool. The applicant desires to add 1100 sq. ft. and increase the number of students from 20 to 42. This property is zoned R-10 and is located at 5101 Aldercrest Rd.
Z0157-06 This is a 3 lot partition with an existing house on one parcel. One parcel can be repartitioned in the future. It is located at 3622 Pinehurst on 1.16 acres zoned R-10.
Z0164-06 This a request for an interpretation relative to the digital printing as a compatible use in I-2. This is related to the Rose Industrial Park south of Vineyard Rd.
Z0175-06 This is a modification of a condition of approval to a prior land use action at 14399 SE River Rd. This removes the requirement for a fire turn-around.
Update on Land Use Applications:
Several applications for “flag lot” drives have been denied because the access drive becomes a corner lot requiring a 15 foot setback from the property line.
Z0640-05 This would have allowed storage of RV’s in a I-2 zone was denied but the Hearings Officer said with definitions changes this was a close call because of ambiguities in the ZDO.
Z0772-05 The Hearings Officer approved this application in what was somewhat of a change in his thought pattern from the initial Hearing. Again the County’s ZDO are unclear.
Z0802-05 This is the deck being built in the Greenway even through a prior decision said no decks in the Greenway. The Hearings Officer focus was on this applicant not the prior applicants and ruled that the deck could be built. It appears this leaves the door open for a lot of building in the Greenway.
